The beans: grown in the Maya Mountain North Forest Reserve deep in the jungle of Toledo, Belize. Grown as part of an initiative run by by a group of Q'eqchi' farmers and a conservation NGO to reforest an area previously invaded by loggers and cattle farmers and fermented by the experts at Maya Mountain Cacao.
